Regulations for Parking at Navarre High School

Parking spaces on the NHS campus during the 2024-2025 school year are limited.  I understand being permitted to park on the NHS campus is a privilege.  Failure to obey any rules may result in school discipline, fines, booting, towing, and/or loss of this privilege.
1. All students who drive a vehicle on the NHS campus must have a parking permit.
2. Parking spaces will be assigned by NHS Administration.  YOU DO NOT OWN the assigned parking space and cannot transfer or approve of anyone else parking in your assigned spot.
3.  Only Seniors and Juniors will be allowed to park on the NHS campus.  Seniors, Dual Enrollment, and DCT students will have priority when issuing parking permits on campus.
4. Students will not be allowed to park in any spaces not assigned to them unless given permission from the NHS administration or SRO.
5. Parking on the grass on the right of way is not allowed. Students parking on the right of way in front of the school may be issued a $32.00 SANTA ROSA COUNTY PARKING CITATION.
6.  Student parking decals will be sold for $30.00. A replacement decal is $10.00 and will only be issued by the NHS admin or SRO on a case-by-case basis.
7. Decals must be visible and must be permanently placed on the outside rear window or bumper.  Failure to display the parking decal in an upright and clearly visible manner may result in a parking citation, repurchase of a new decal, and/or revocation of parking privilege.
8. THERE IS NO BACKING INTO A PARKING SPACE.  In order to effectively and quickly monitor the parking lot for safety issues, vehicles must pull forward into a parking spot.
9. NON-USE OF AN ASSIGNED PARKING SPACE WILL RESULT IN REVOCATION OF PARKING PERMIT.
10. Students who drive a different vehicle other than the one registered must check in with Student Services - NO EXCEPTIONS.
11. Students who leave campus without permission may automatically lose their parking privilege.
